A modder at XDA dev forum has been able to port the latest Google Camera app with HDR+ and many other cool features to many non-Pixel devices. While Nokia Android Phones are not mentioned in the supported list, we tested the Google Camera app port on Nokia 3, 5 and 6. We can confirm that it works on Nokia 5, 6 and 8 but not on Nokia 3.
You can check three screenshots above that give an idea about the configuration options and features.
Features:
- Google’s HDR+ technology only available on Pixel smartphones for now
- RAW support
- Options to configure all HDR+ settings and processing logic
- Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL)
