HMD is getting more and more aggressive in India. It’s strategy is not only competing price wise but also expanding the reach both channel and variant wise. It recently slashed prices of Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 6.1 and also made Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus available offline. Nokia 8.1 6GB RAM variant has also been launched recently following this multi-pronged strategy.
But, wait there is more on the horizon and our sources in retail tell us that very soon HMD will use its two most successful Nokia smartphones 6.1 Plus and 5.1 Plus to take the fight to competitors. HMD India we learn is planning to bring more Nokia 6.1 Plus and 5.1 Plus higher RAM/storage variants to India soon.
Nokia 6.1 Plus 6GB RAM/64GB storage, Nokia 5.1 Plus 4GB RAM/64GB storage and Nokia 5.1 Plus 6GB RAM/64GB storage variants are soon making their way to Indian market. These may be launched in February in coming weeks and while exact pricing is not known, here is the expected pricing for these variants,
