HMD launched both Nokia 3310 (2017) and Nokia 3 as only “in-store available products” in India. When we had a discussion with its HMD India PR team, we came to understand they will remain offline exclusive in long run too.
So, while this is not a very wise step considering lots of urban Indian Phone buyers prefer shopping online, HMD has its own market research for the Indian market that shows that majority of Phone buyers still go to retail stores.
But there is a silver lining here too. HMD PR Team has confirmed to us that big retailers like Croma, Sangeetha Mobile and other that have retail and online presence can sell Nokia 3 and Nokia 3310 (2017) online too. So, while the listing that pops up on eBay or Amazon are not officially allowed, you can buy one if Croma or Sangeetha or others list them online.
The good news is that Croma is selling both Nokia 3 and Nokia 3310 (2017) online and you can buy them at the officially recommended price.
