Have a look at the above picture. On the left is PureView Camera sensor/module from Lumia 920 and on right is Lumia 920 itself. It is easy to note that the sensor which allows amazing low-light images and OIS during video capture may be the most responsible factor for the overall thickness of Lumia 920 (1o.7 mm), which is still less as compared to earlier Lumia devices like Lumia 800 and 900. Anyways, great to see Nokia optimising sensor size and overall thickness of the phone with great Camera performance.

Now, one more picture from the Photokina, where Nokia is holding  “Try out shooting in the dark” challenge with Lumia 920 PureView until 23rd Sep. This time it yet again blows away Samsung galaxy SIII in low-light performance.
