Nokia has brought leap motion technology to its 3D Here Maps. Now you can use  (in case available with you) a connected leap motion sensor to your PC and explore the Here Maps by using simple gestures. Have a look at the demo video below for more and click here for giving it a try, in case you have a leap motion sensor.

Windows Phone team has finally released the non-Beta version or RTMed version of Windows Phone app for desktop. You can download it from here. Below screenshot shows how it looks. Extra option of “Ringtones” is most visible change. Read below for other changes.

Sync music, photos, movies, TV shows, and podcasts from your existing Apple iTunes library  or your Windows Libraries to your Windows Phone 8.*

Automatically import pictures and videos you’ve taken with your phone to your PC.

See at a glance how much space you’re using for each type of content, so it’s easy to make sure you never run out of room on your phone.

What really missing in the pc sync app are:
    1) Message sync
    2) Contacts sync
    3) ability to download maps to ur phone
    4) download app from market to phone just like nokia suite does and still many features are missing…. :-(…. But still then its good to see atleast they are working on…!!!

Hopefully files on NAS can be synchronized. PCs are running out and will be replaced by Tablets/Convertibles. Therfore it’s likely that files will be stored on an extra medium.
