Today is July 28, and Nokia Technologies is holding a VIP event in US. The event invitation teases “Nowhere: Now Here”. The event is scheduled to take place on July 28 in “The Hudson Loft, LA”.
Now, we received tips from our sources that Nokia Technologies may unveil some innovations related to imaging or a VR device and its companion apps. We hope they launch both!!
Here is a bit more about the Nokia VR device and applications that we may see getting unveiled today. It seems both HERE and Nokia Technologies teams were involved in the development of location-based VR experience from a platform and Consumer perspective at Nokia. It also seem the demo of some HERE applications on a Samsung VR device at MWC was kind of a pilot demo of location-based VR experience that Nokia may finally offer.
So, it’s not confirmed yet, but seems the HERE part in teaser “Nowhere: Now HERE” may really have something to do with HERE.
