@evleaks has now leaked Asha 501’s new picture with all six color devices stacked over each other. As earlier informed, Nokia should unveil Asha 501 in tomorrow’s India event. The latest image matches very well with two earlier leaked renders. By looks of it, Asha 501 should have 3.2-3.5 inch display and as earlier found 5 MP camera and as the lock screen notifications indicates may be an AMOLED screen.

So, obviously it is no threat to Lumia low-end as some were apprehensive of. Rather it looks like a way to make customer addicted to colorful and nice looking designs for a price close to $130-$150 in emerging markets, so that when they choose their first smartphone in one or two years down the line it better be that colorful Lumia :P.

it is ok.. pple need to buy the other 4 lumia phones.. So that Is the reason.

Personally I would buy this just to play with it and use it as a back up.. and to get a change from the lumia

  • Is that an LED I see in the back? If so its inexcusable that the Lumia 520/521 doesn’t have one. I know of 4 people who’d like to purchase a Lumia 521, but won’t because of the omission.
