Few of our readers have informed us that they are not able to link social contacts to phone contacts by the method described by us in our last article. So here is the alternative .
- Configure at least one of your social accounts (Facebook, Twitter)
- For Facebook go to news feeds or to friends and tap on the contact’s profile picture. You will get option of “Link profile to contact”. Selecting this option will take you to phone contacts, where you can choose the contact to be linked . And it is done.
- For Twitter, go to feeds or to followers/followed and tap on the contact’s profile. You will get option of “Link profile to contact”. Selecting this option will take you to phone contacts, where you can choose the contact to be linked . And it is done.
One very interesting thing is that social integrates to your phone contacts automatically after you configure your social account. So, if you want your phone to do integration of social and phone contacts, you need to keep name of phone contacts as much similar to social contacts as possible. Isn’t that awesome. But you need to wait for half an hour after configuring your account to let it happen in background.
