HMD has finally launched the affordable Android flagship Nokia 8 in India today revealing its price and release date. Nokia 8 standard 4GB RAM/64GB ROM variant will be available starting October 14 in India.
Nokia 8 will be priced at a cool Rs 36,999 in India and will be available to buy both online and offline (retail stores). Amazon will be the exclusive online retailer for Nokia 8 but the good news is that its availability will not be limited to online only. It will also be available with major retailers in their retail stores.
We have been calling Nokia 8 the affordable flagship because it will be followed by the premium flagship Nokia 9. Nokia 9 has recently appeared in many leaks confirming its existence and revealing its design and specs.
HMD has launched a slightly beefed up Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM is some European markets already, but will skip India as confirmed by HMD to us exclusively.
