Microsoft bought Nokia for Mobile phones. They made smartphones running Windows Phone Operating System. Now Microsoft is making phones in their own name & logo. Today Microsoft released another smartphone in their Lumia portfolio with some lower mid range specs in it. The newest Lumia from the company is called Lumia 650. It is having a 5-inch HD display with 1.3GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor. The device is having 1GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the device is having 8MP camera on the back as well as a 5MP snapper on the front.
We already have many Lumia phones with nearly similar specifications . Some of those are having Windows Phone 8.1 Operating System but this one is running Windows 10 Out of the box. S0 now in this article we will be making a quick specs comparison of Lumia 640, Lumia 540, Lumia 550 & Lumia 650.

Now we can see that all of these devices are having nearly similar specifications in terms of hardware with just one major differentiating factor which is availability of Operating System. The newer Lumias like Lumia 550 & lumia 650 are launched with Windows 10 Mobile OS out of the box while the older phones like Lumia 540 & lumia 640 are having Windows Phone 8.1 OS in them.
The Lumia 640 has an edge with it’s bigger battery among other & this one is closely followed by Lumia 540 smartphone launched in 2015. In terms of camera , we have three devices with nearly similar camera specs . Lumia 550 has lesser megapixel compared to other three. But Lumia 540 has a limitation that it can not record videos in more than SD format.
In terms of processor, the Lumia 650 & Lumia 640 are having better processors while Lumia 650 is having the newer processor. The Lumia 540 & Lumia 550 are having older processor especially the Lumia 540.
All of these devices are having same amount of RAM that is 1GB .The Lumia 640 has a disadvantage in terms of the front camera sensor in it. It is having just 0.3MP camera on the front while other devices are having greater cameras like Lumia 550 is having 2MP camera on the front. The Lumia 540 & Lumia 650 are having 5MP front cameras.
