Microsoft had earlier confirmed that the Internet Explorer on Window 10 for Phones first preview build, 9941.12498 uses the latest rendering engine that will be used by upcoming Spartan browser. Not only this engine imparts slightly better HTML5 score to the Internet explorer on Windows 10 for Phones, but a new feature has been revealed by eagle-eye users.
As you can see in the above screenshot and perhaps guess, the Internet explorer now supports “Live streaming” of events. If you are running Windows 10 for Phones, go to YouTube on browser and search for Live streaming events and you can check for yourself. On a device running Lumia Denim and Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1 you will rather find “not supported on this client”.
Check our Windows 10 for Phones dedicated page with all the details of the first preview build 9941.12498. The page has all the hands-on demo videos, exclusively reported features and even the upcoming and rumored ones.
Thanks Raghavendra for the tip. Cheers!!
