Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary update Build 14393.185 shows up now

Microsoft last released Windows 10 Mobile CU Build 14393.103 to Insiders in Slow and Release Preview Rings. While it later released Windows 10 PC Build 14393.105 to non-insiders, Windows 10 Mobile Build 14393.105 is yet to go out to Mobile Insiders.

Now a new Anniversary update build has appeared on BuildFeed. Build 14393.185 is a good jump over Build 14393.105 as far as Build number is concerned. Hence, it may bring lots of fixes and improvements for issues faced with the Anniversary update.

It has been compiled on August 31 and has already got enough days for testing and evaluation. Microsoft may or may not push it first to Insiders. However if feedback remains good from Insiders, it can be pushed to both Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 PC devices running Anniversary update as the next incremental update.

Hope it fixes the lock screen bug where it sometimes gives black screen until it unlocks by pin or gives black screen and shows iris scanner light then unlocks to home screen or sometimes the screen after unlocking goes dim and doesn’t return to normal until you either lock it again or tap the screen. Bugs that should NEVER be happening on a 950XL running 14393.103.

Not surprising. Remember the 10586.XXX cycle? We used to have
      a) a CU release to release preview by mid-end of month
      b) and then, on Patch Tuesday, a big jump in release of production CU.
That’s what I expect for production on mobile, and HP’s announcement of W10 AU coming on 13th of Sep (=2nd Tuesday of Sep= Patch Tuesday) seem to concur.
Big jump doesn’t mean a lot more addition. It means they’re refining more and more, generating more builds/day, which could mean fine tuning, rather than big changes/fixes.
The ability of MS to generate more builds/day is a good sign to my eyes, it means they have 90% of what they wanted, and are refining.
I’m pretty sure we won’t get 185, but maybe even a bit higher next Tuesday (not tomorrow).
