WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone keeps getting updates at regular and frequent intervals and the changes brought by these updates later move to the WhatsApp Store release version. The Beta app has now received an update that takes its version to 2.16.40. The update brings changes in the UI of chat window especially the text input area and arrangements of icons like attachment, speech input etc.
Check the below image that gives an idea about how the text input area and icons look like post the latest update. You can notice the speech moving to bottom and attachment icon moving to extreme left. It also seems that attachment and text input area can now be used simultaneously.
