In the “Earnings call” held by Nokia yesterday, CEO Elop commented that they are very excited about how things are going in China post Lumia WP8 release. According to him consumer response has been “very positive” from China and demand is outstripping the supply at this point.
Elop: You’ve seen us do things like this already with the Lumia 620. You’ll see a number of other efforts in the months and years ahead that really go after that. So, we’re excited about how things are going in China. Just a comment on current activities, the consumer response from China is very positive, it is a market that has generally has been the case, it’s certainly the case in China as well that demand is outstripping supply at this point.
