A few days back we have reported on how Verizon and HMD are teaming up to launch the Nokia 2.1V. On his Twitter account, Evan Bliss posted some photos suggesting the same. Now he also claims that HMD and Verizon deal is indeed happening with Verizon written on the Nokia 2. Verizon will be selling the Nokia 2 as a prepaid smartphone.

As we discussed earlier this deal will bolster Nokia’s exposure in the USA market. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to come.
Talking about its specs, Nokia 2 comes with a 5.5-inch display, 4000 mAH battery, a new design, stereo speakers and is powered by Snapdragon 425. You also get 8MP AF camera with LED flash and a 5MP FF camera. Head over to this page for more information about the Nokia 2.
