All Nokia 2 variants that earlier passed certification at FCC have been relisted in new certifications at the certification authority. New TA-1029, TA-1023, TA-1007 and TA-1035 certifications reveal a hardware change that will improve the performance of the device.

The letter accompanying these new certifications talks about this hardware change but doesn’t reveal exact details. It may be some change in the antenna to improve the connectivity related performance or maybe something else.

Five variants of Nokia 2 TA-1029, TA-1023, TA-1007, TA-1035 and TA-1011 have already appeared in both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications.

There is a global launch event in India on October 31 and at least Nokia 2 seems confirmed apart from Nokia 7’s global launch. We just reported about Nokia 2 pricing leak via a listing at retailer B&H in the US.

Nokia 2 is supposed to come with a 4.7 to 5-inch HD resolution, LCD display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 212 processor. Read all that we know about Nokia 2 including its probable release date, photos and more at our dedicated Nokia 2 page.
