You may have heard about Project N earlier, which according to an earlier tip received by us is Nokia’s attempt of putting a new OS/UI layer on top of Android. The tip also talked about a mythical NPhone in development.

Now, we have received a tip from one of our trusted tipsters about Nokia’s experiment with Android. Seems, Nokia’s tryst with Android is Nokia’s UI experiment and they will be using only Nokia exclusive apps for their Android device (NPhone), something along the lines of Amazon’s take on the Android with their Kindle devices.

So, possibly the Nokia Android experiment is to continue as part of CTO projects team at Nokia, even after the D&S division is sold off to MS. Possibilities are endless, if this project work continues and Nokia manages to come up with something disruptive enough in future.
