Tip: Nokia 9 protective cases in three colors show up

HMD just (sort of) confirmed that a flagship Nokia Android smartphone with Carl-Zeiss optics is coming this year. You can read flagship Nokia 9 detailed specs, and check out leaked images and videos by clicking here. Now, we have received some images of claimed Nokia 9 protective cases in our inbox.

These images are of Nokia 9 transparent cases in three colors: Black, Blue, and Brown. We can’t vouch for authenticity of these cases as this has become a norm. As soon as leaks start appearing for any upcoming popular smartphone, we see a wave of such kind of cases/covers popping up.

But cases shown in these images can be a good fit for the previously leaked Nokia 9 design. For now take these with a pinch of salt.

Thanks Amjad for sending this in!!

Any chances this is coming in a 6 inch screen?

Ugly design, NO dedicated camera button, No Edge-to-edge display, No rear FFS.
    Not looking sexy.

Honestly, there’s one thing here I really hope it’s wrong: the absence of a dedicated camera button.
Having a great camera with Zeiss optics etc and no dedicated camera button goes against all logic. Not only does is break a decade old tradition at Nokia, it downplays the importance of the camera on a phone.

Having things like the fingerprint scanner or power button doubling as a camera launch button is NOT a good alternative. It never was. And considering, judging by the images and the existing Nokia 3, 5 and 6, that HMD might continue the TERRIBLE choice of the power and volume buttons placement (they’re all way too small and way too high on the frame), the absence of that camera key just adds insult to injury.

Your sources confirm the presence of edge-to-edge display?
