HMD India postponed its India launch event scheduled on September 11 for the recently unveiled Nokia phones and smartphones including 7.2, 6.2, 2720 Flip and 800 Tough. Now, since many conspiracy theories are doing rounds with regards to the reason behind this postponement, here is what Nokiapoweruser has learned from trusted sources.
As per what we have learned issues with logistics forced HMD India to postpone the event and it is not going to happen even this week, because some top executives are not available in India. So, that leaves us with a possible launch in next week or next to next week, if the same situation prevails next week too.
HMD India plans to launch all the newly announced Nokia phones and smartphones in India and Nokia 7.2 will be the first one to become available in India like other markets. We will keep you updated when HMD India re-sends press invites for the event.
Update: It may also happen that HMD launches devices without a proper launch event. But in any case, Nokia 7.2 would be the first to hit the market.
