We first reported about the existence of Nokia 4 via our APK tear-down of the new Nokia Camera. Later a rumor has it that it will replace Nokia 3 in the portfolio and will pack a Snapdragon processor. Now, the latest rumor (via a tip mentioning vk.com) claims that it will be powered by Snapdragon 450 processor and will be launched at MWC 2018.
Nokia 4 appeared in the APK tear-down with Nokia 1, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco and later we found more leaks of Nokia 1 and Nokia 8 Sirocco confirming their arrival at MWC 2018. Even our sources in retail have confirmed that Nokia 1 and Nokia 7 Plus are certainly coming at MWC 2018.
But until now no genuine leak has appeared in regards to Nokia 4. We haven’t heard its mention from any of our sources. Even this rumor doesn’t have any other details of Nokia 4 including its specifications.
But that doesn’t mean it can’t be announced at MWC. Nokia 4 may not be launched in China as the number is considered unlucky there but HMD anyways didn’t launch Nokia 3 or Nokia 5 in China. So, why will it plan to launch Nokia 4 in China is the question?
As we have mentioned above we haven’t heard about Nokia 4 yet from any trusted sources and so will suggest you take this rumor with a pinch of salt. But MWC 2018 maybe even bigger than we have assumed it to be so far if HMD really surprises us with a Nokia 4 launch too along with Nokia 1, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco.
