We have been posting some exclusive details about the upcoming Nokia mid-rangers Nokia 6.3, Nokia 7.3 5G, and the flagship Nokia 9.3 PureView. We had earlier reported about HMD planning a major Nokia smartphone launch event in Q4 2020.
Even HMD CPO dropped a big hint on Twitter about Nokia 9.3 PureView color option confirming that it is in works. Juho similarly confirmed that Nokia 7.3 5G powered by Snapdragon 690 is under development. He has also hinted at a 90 Hz/120 Hz display for Nokia 7.3 5G.
Now our sources indicate that the development work of Nokia 6.3, Nokia 7.3 5G, and the flagship Nokia 9.3 PureView is almost over. The smartphones will now be pushed to final testing and then production may begin in September/October. This is in sync with a launch plan in Q4 2020, unless HMD hits a roadblock.
Coming to what to expect in shorter term in terms of launches/releases; Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4 are what we can expect HMD to focus on. Nokia 8.3 5G is now expected to be released around the end of August by our sources in retails. Nokia 2.4 and 3.4 may most probably be launched in September.
