RM-1020 is the Dual-Sim version of Lumia 530. Passes via FCC, destined to Australia & Thailand (APAC)

Lumia 530

We reported about RM-1020 passing certification in Thailand and identified it as yet another variant of Lumia 530. Now, it has passed certification at FCC as well and the label reveals some interesting tidbits about it.

  • It is certainly another Lumia 530 variant, which is clear from the listing, as it is all similar to RM-1018 in terms of size specs and other details.
  • But, most importantly the label has two IMEI numbers, which means it is also a Dual-Sim Dual-Active handset like Lumia 630. Which means Lumia 530 will be the second Dual-Sim Lumia device after Lumia 630
  • It is destined to Australia as well apart from Thailand (APAC).

Thanks @atomic50 for the tip. Cheers!!

Lumia 630 is Dual Standby, not Dual Active.
