Some rumors are doing rounds about two versions of upcoming value flagship Nokia 8.2 in works. One with 4G and another with 5G support. But as far as we know or have heard from our sources this is not true. There is only one version of Nokia 8.2 in works and it will arrive next year with 5G support.
HMD dropped the idea of launching two versions of same smartphone like it did in the case of Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus and has followed up with only one Nokia 6.2. They are going to do the same with Nokia 8.2 we hear.
Though only possibility is that they may further dilute the Nokia 8.2 name and launch the value flagship with a new name. But so far all that we know hints at a 5G capable Nokia 8.2 coming at MWC 2020.
An early rumor has claimed that Nokia 8.2 will features a 32 MP pop-up selfie camera and our sources have tipped us about a 64MP rear camera and the design. We last reported about the possibility of the upcoming Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 735 powering the 5G capable Nokia 8.2. The Nokia value flagship Nokia 8.2 will be priced around $500, if we consider what Juho hinted at in the interview.
Talking about the Snapdragon 735 processor with 5G support Qualcomm revealed that it will be based on 7nm platform. It will bring next-gen AI Engine, gaming and other premium features to the affordable category.
