The official Twitter app has just seen an update that takes it version to 3.2.2.
The update not only brings some UI changes in form of the Direct Messaging taking place of the Hash tag in the top menu, but also removes character restriction of 140 from Direct Messages. So seems Twitter has pushed direct messaging to the front line of Twitter communication with this update.
Coming to settings there is an extra option of switching on / off the “alerts for when data changes will apply”. There may be other changes too. Do let us know if you find more.
