Nokia Xpress Browser for Nokia Asha which is known to compress web pages by upto 90% has just received a new update to the version 3. The update brings in a nicely implemented Multi-Window manager tab which makes it easy for the users to browse through multiple websites at the same time. The updated Xpress Browser is the same as in the latest Asha 501 which runs on the newly launched Asha Platform.
Besides the Multi-Window support, the update also brings in countless improvements and bug fixes. Problems such as the crashing of browser or invalid image handling have been taken care of.
How to Update the Xpress Browser
If you’re running on one of the device which is set to receive the update (most of the newer devices are supported, including the whole of full-touch range), you’ll be notified automatically through a pop-up in your browser mentioning that an update is available and will guide you to the update.
Else you can check for an update by selecting Options> Update version.
