Seems, the market which Nokia has supposedly targeted with Nokia X series of devices is responding very well to the arrival of first Nokia with Android. Nokia X has amassed 1 million pre-orders in just 4 days in China. This information has been shared by Nokia’s official Sina-Weibo account (Twitter equivalent). Below screenshot shows the tweet with 1 million pre-order figure announcement.
The device went on pre-order at Nokia’s official JingDong Mall shop for a price of Yuan 599, 4 days back. This is certainly a great news for Nokia’s Android strategy and many may not help but ponder, what could have happened if Nokia had decided to go Nokia X way, 2 years back.
