Nokia teases HERE Maps app for iOS as “almost here”

HERE iOSThe HERE Maps iOS app had been confirmed in works by Nokia earlier and later HERE team had informed that it is expected to launch in early 2015.

Now, in a blog post that talks about the major update for its Android app, Nokia has hinted about sooner arrival of the iOS app saying “it is almost here“. Can Friday the 13th be lucky for iOS owners?? We are not lucky with dates, however. So, let’s see!! HERE Android app has already crossed 3 million downloads on Google Play Store recently in the meantime.

    HERE Maps for WP 50+ mln users
    HERE Maps for android – 3mln users
    but android users are more importent for Nokia. – better app, fast updates etc.

        – multiple routes – you can choose witch one you prefer.
        – better routing – algorithm from WP version is a joke.

          I remember them mentioning back in 2013 that there was an API limitation with this.
