A new Nokia smartphone with codes TA-1057 & TA-1063 has passed certification at FCC. This is the same smartphone that was earlier caught by us in Bluetooth certification with five product variants TA-1057, TA-1063, TA-1049, TA-1074, and TA-1057.
The FCC certification reveals some interesting stuff about the smartphone. It may come with a 18:9 display as seems confirmed by the screenshot posted as e-Label in the certification. We extracted it (above) and it sort of confirms the 18:9 display ratio.
Second important information is about the Battery and it seems a 2900 mAH battery will power the smartphone. The information further confirms that TA-1057 is the Single-SIM and TA-1063 is Dual-SIM version.
It also seems that TA-1063 and TA-1057 will have NFC support while other three variants TA-1049, TA-1074 and TA-1057 won’t have NFC support.
Coming to what it may be, the closest we have the Nokia 5 with 3000 mAH Battery. So, it can be the Nokia 5.1 or Nokia 5 2018 with NFC support, a new full-screen design and display ratio like Nokia 7 Plus. Or, it may be the rumored Nokia X5.
HMD has scheduled a global launch event in Russia on May 29 and teases it to be the worldwide premier of new Nokia Phones. We may hope to see the above smartphone getting launched on May 29 then.
