Nokia XA report for Q2, 2014 from Canalys gives 5th Vendor rank to Nokia ( Microsoft Mobile) in Indian market. According to the report, Nokia sold 633,720 smartphones during the three month period from April to June.

This marks a growth QoQ, as in Q1, Nokia sold sold 583,160 smartphones, but seems Motorola overtook Nokia’s sales based on momentum it created with its low-end Moto E smartphone, priced at just Rs 6,999. Nokia didn’t have an answer to this pricing in Lumia range and the Lumia 520 still is pricier than Moto E in India.

Lumia 530 should help Microsoft in gaining some ground back, if it launches at prices indicated by Microsoft during announcement.
