Nokia Mobile has now started the roll-out of April Security update 2024 to Nokia G42 5G, Nokia X30 5G, Nokia G60 5G, Nokia XR20 5G and Nokia X20. The security update brings only the Google Android patch for the month of April 2024.

Nokia G42 5G, Nokia X30 5G, Nokia G60 5G, Nokia XR20 5G and Nokia X20 are receiving only the 2024 April security patch update. Here is what the April security update 2024 addresses as mentioned by Google on its official Security bulletin page.
The most severe of these issues is a high security vulnerability in the System component that could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. The severity assessment is based on the effect that exploiting the vulnerability would possibly have on an affected device, assuming the platform and service mitigations are turned off for development purposes or if successfully bypassed.
