You may remember us reporting about Nokia planning outdoor consumer products under HERE’s ‘Everyday Adventures’ vertical. Now an expired job opening tipped to us throws more light on this. You will be responsible for developing the global marketing strategy and launch plan, its 2014 US centric launch pilot set up and the subsequent international roll out with strong a focus on community, partnerships and (digital) publishing
You will be leading the development and implementation of a fully operational E-Commerce and CRM platform for the product range
You will define the roles and responsibilities, recruit, on-board, develop and lead a world-class consumer marketing team including the Head of Product Marketing who is already part of the team today and who will report to you
You will work closely with the product, design, sales and business development teams in your Business Group to innovate and co-create further future product ideas, drive them forward and make them ready for go-to-market.

Note down the phrases “Under the HERE brand umbrella” and “a unique consumer experience around the motivations and needs of an active outdoor lifestyle community globally” from the job description.
Connecting the dots here takes us to a new Nokia consumer foray under HERE brand which will launch most probably a range of “smart wearables”, the first of which a smart-watch or smart wrist-wearable can be out during Holidays this year. Sounds exciting!!!
