Nokia 8 getting Oreo V4.39 & performance improvements with a new firmware update

Nokia 8 in some European markets including Germany is receiving a new software update. This update brings a new Android Oreo OS version 4.390 along with a new December patch update and performance improvements. For your information, Nokia 8 in most of the markets had already received December Security update, so this is an extra software update.

As you can see in the screenshots above this software update for Nokia 8 is 330.7 MB in size.  You will either be prompted to download this update or you can check by going to Settings and searching system updates and then by checking for the update.

The changelog for the update mentions the December Security patch along with improved system stability and user interface enhancements. As per the reader who tipped us with the screenshot of the update, Camera app seems opening faster after this update.

While the update brings a new Android Oreo OS version one can’t expect new features or changes with this update as these updates are usually meant for fixing bugs and issues.

Thanks Wilbert for the tip & screenshot. Cheers!!
