good enough, but given the dire situation, it´s not enough.
nothing special
design is good BUT only the bottom button (like samsung galaxy) is bad looking…with those 2 touch navigation keys that is okay…but the hardware button is too bad look wise. Here nokia must innovate its own hardware button design and must not copy from samsung galaxy.
it looks great but its like samsung and iphone mix up . expected alot
could be better
i prefer onscreen keys, plastic build and waterproofing and low cost.

looks like a older lumia running Android.

  • Pyrobri

Nokia people are like Apple sheep, they would buy a polished turd as long as it has the right label stamped on it.
If I didn’t know it was Android and saw one in the wild I would assume it was a Lumia and that design is years old now. Expected something refreshing not stale!

  • Rce

Design is awesome, but Carl Zeiss is missing 🙁

  • Melwyn Castelino

it looks like combo of samsung and iphone . i expected alot from the design . it looks like a samsung from that button in the middle same like samsung ..

  • Prasenjit Singh Bist

You have yet seen nothing the evolution of something Nokia into something magical 😉

  • Everson

Judge by pictures is far from the real deal. We should have to wait to get it in the hands. Anyway, by the pictures, looks good. The price will define the expectations. Let’s say it looks far more interesting than an Lumia 830.

    • Tiago Miguel Morgado Jorge

It doesn’t have Zeiss, it doens’t have Pureview, etc…

      • Kamal

        Zeiss, Pureview on a mid-ranger??

        • Rce

          Lumia 730,640xl Carl Zeiss midranger?

      • Everson

Zeiss is just a brand. If the camera is good, i wouldn’t care. There are bazillions of phones with better cameras than the lumias out there nowadays. Even than the Lumia 1020.

        • Tiago Miguel Morgado Jorge

          It’s assured quality, above all!

        • KTHwai

phones with better cameras than lumia 1020 ? really ?
in term of speed, maybe. but never in the quality, ever.

  • nataniel josué.

    Beautiful

  • Vignesh R

i like the solid design.. But that home button and bezel design make it look like a samsung phone (only the front view)

    • God of chaos

More like a recent HTC phone than a Samsung, if you ask me. I really like that they are using capacitive buttons as opposed to on-screen navigation.

  • Wallis

More screen less bezels would be ideal for a 5.5er.

  • Pyrobri

    meh!

  • God of chaos

It sucks that it doesn’t have a camera button.

  • WahyuAP

‘meh’ for camera and flash design

  • DBS

I have to say “meh”. There’s nothing wrong with the design nor nothing extraordinary. I don’t like aluminium slabs though so there’s also that.
I’d have preferred the camera to have no bump but at least it’s not horrible like the iPixels.

  • ANSARI5X5

    Camera ? button exists?

    • DBS

      Not on low end devices.

      • JLIT99

On most Androids, you can use the volume down button as a camera shutter. Probably will apply here as well.
