Nokia 6 2018 got “Double tap to lock” feature after Oreo update

The second generation Nokia 6 aka Nokia 6 2018 is currently exclusive to China market with expected expansion to other markets commencing after the MWC 2018 event. Nokia 6 2018 is a serious upgrade over Nokia 6 with upgraded Snapdragon 630 processor, Quick-charge, OZO Audio, Dual-Sight and last but not the least the new less-bezel design.

In a good news, Nokia 6 2018 has recently added a new feature with the Android Oreo update that was available on Nokia Lumia phones. We are talking about “Double tap to lock” feature that allows one to double tap on the status or navigation bar to lock the screen.

One needs to go to Settings–>System–>Gestures and enable this option. This option is available on Nokia 6 2018 only after the Oreo update.

Nokia 6 2018 started getting the Oreo update with very first boot after unboxing in China. So, hopefully the global Nokia 6 2018 will also pack this feature out of the box.
