Earlier today we reported about HMD Global having an event in Russia where the company introduced three new smartphones. The new smartphones are successors to the Nokia 2 & Nokia. The third smartphone is a successor to the Nokia 5 as Nokia 5.1 .
The Nokia 5 2018 is introduced globally as the Nokia 5.1. The New Nokia 5 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD+ 18:9 display on the front having a display resolution of 2160x1080p. It comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM variants in it. The Nokia 5.1 is coupled with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage variants in it. However, you can always expand this storage using a Micro SD card in the slot provided. The other upgrade to the original Nokia 5 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P18(MT6755S) SoC.
In the camera department, the company has equipped it with an improved sensor of 16MP on the back with LED flash. On the front, it comes with an 8MP snapper. The Nokia 5.1 also comes with modern USB Type-C connectors which is great to see in the affordable range.
