HMD finally brings the Nokia 5.1 in South Africa. The smartphone was launched in Russia in the month of May this year. Those in South Africa, HMD asks as much as R3599.00 and for that, you get some cool hardware inside the device. That being said, the newly launched device is bit old and already has a successor – the Nokia 5.1 Plus. Nevertheless, for those residing in South Africa, it is definitely a good news.
If we talk about the device, it still offers relevant specs even though it is a few months old. We are talking about Octa-Core MediaTek Helia P18 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of secondary memory for storage. There is also a model with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The device also takes some great photos with the 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
