We earlier reported a report from a trusted source that Nokia 3310 4G along with Nokia 6 2018 may be launched in January. We also reported about a certain TA-1077 passing a Chinese certification. Now, the TA-1077 has appeared on Tenna revealing that it is the 4G version of Nokia 3310. Check the Tenna images of the test device below.
Nokia 3310 4G looks similar to the new Nokia 3310 and Nokia 3310 3G versions design wise. There is, however, one surprising information that the certification reveals about Nokia 3310 4G. It seems that it will come with YunOS, an operating system developed by Alibaba by forking Android open source project (AOSP). As per its official site,
YunOS is a cloud-based, data and service oriented IoT operating system developed by Alibaba Group. It has high compatibility and scalability and is suitable for a wide range of IoT devices including smart phones, Internet cars, Internet TVs, smart home, smart wearable smart terminals, as well as chips and sensors.
Alibaba claims that activation number of devices running YunOS have crossed 157 million as of May 2017.
