After Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, the lowest-end Nokia Android phone Nokia 3 has also started receiving the September Android Security update. Our Nokia 3 in India received the update this morning. We also received tips from many of you, so it seems the update roll-out to Nokia 3 is global.
The update is 82.4MB in size. You will either be prompted to download this update or you can check by going to Settings and searching system updates and then by checking for the update.
The changelog for the update mentions only September 2017 Android Patch.
HMD has been quite consistent in terms of releasing Monthly Security updates and OS updates for Nokia smartphones already available in the market. HMD has also made it clear that all Nokia Android Phones will receive minimum two years of OS update support.
