As expected and scheduled, HMD Global has now introduced the new range of devices at an event in Moscow, Russia. The new devices from HMD include successors to last year’s budget devices which were the Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and the Nokia 5.
The latest one we are talking about here is the New Nokia 3 aka Nokia 3.1 . The Nokia 3.1 is an upgrade to last year’s Nokia 3 with an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750N chipset which is found mostly on budget-oriented devices.
In terms of specifications and features, the Nokia 3.1 comes with a 5.2-inch HD+ display with now in trend 18:9 aspect ratio. The device comes equipped with 2GB or 3GB of RAM variants. For these two RAM variants, the smartphone is equipped with 16GB/32GBGB of onboard storage also.
Talking about the camera features of the Nokia 3.1, it also gets a worthy upgrade. The New Nokia 3 (aka Nokia 3.1) is equipped with a 13MP camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash on the back. On the front, the device comes with an 8MP sensor also with f/2.0 aperture. One of the interesting upgrades we see in the Nokia 3.1 is the addition of USB Type-C which is hard to find in budget smartphones nowadays.
