Recently, at an event in New Delhi as well as in Italy, HMD Global officially introduced the Nokia 2.2 smartphone to the world. We also got our first hands-on experience with the device at the launch event here in Delhi.

Today we have unboxed the Nokia 2.2 and we are sharing our first hands-on experience with the device. The unboxing experience of Nokia 2.2 is similar to previous Nokia devices(most preferably the entry level ones). Opening the box gets you the Nokia 2.2 wrapped in plastic protection film. Below that we have a section where the battery is placed which is also wrapped in plastic. We also get a USB Type-A to Micro USB cable inside the box. There is a power brick inside the box which has a rating of 5V 1A i.e 10w and that’s not a fast charging method.

Talking about the device, the Nokia 2.2 feels good in the hand. It is made of polycarbonate material and has a removable back cover, which Nokia calls as Xpress Snap-on covers that are available in different colors to choose from. In terms of design, we have power and volume rockers on the right side. On the left side, we have a dedicated Google Assistant key.
