One of the devs of VLC for Windows Phone has confirmed that a new update will be pushed today. This update will bring new features, improved design and much-needed bug fixes.

VLC app for Windows Phone was released to Beta testers on December 5, but it came with a nasty audio bug, which was fixed in the first update. The app still can’t play music when sent to background, though the dev has confirmed in a tweet that music will soon work in background.
