After the recent launch of Nokia X10 and Nokia X20, two 5G smartphones, Nokia Mobile is planning to bring even more 5G smartphones in year 2021. We know about at least one Nokia smartphone which is planned as Nokia 8.3 5G successor and has been in works for some time. This smartphone may be named differently now (Nokia X50 probably), given the change in Nokia naming convention.
As per the exclusive information we received, Nokia 8.3 5G successor will be powered by Snapdragon 775 processor and may feature a Penta-cam camera setup with 108MP primary camera. It may not be launched as Nokia 8.4 5G and the source suggests Nokia X50 as the marketing name but doesn’t confirm it.
Coming to the yet to be official Snapdragon 775 processor, it is considered to be a significant upgrade over Snapdragon 765G. Recent leaks have revealed more about Snapdragon 775/775G aka SM7350.
The Penta-cam setup on Nokia 8.3 5G successor may pack a 108MP main sensor with ultra-wide, depth, macro and telephoto sensors. It will again feature Zeiss optics and OZO Audio tech just like Nokia 8.3 5G.
Coming to the display, we hear that it may feature a 6.5”, QHD+ display with PureDisplay V4. The display may have a 120 HZ screen refresh rate. For compensating the screen refresh rate Nokia 8.3 5G may pack a 6000mAH battery.
We recently reported about two new batteries related to Nokia smartphones appearing in TUV certification. One of them has 6000 mAH capacity with 22W fast charging.
We earlier told you that Nokia 8.4 5G is targeted at the second half of 2021. That still holds though it may be launched as Nokia X50 or with a similar name.
