A Microsoft France rep has confirmed that Cortana will be available for France in coming months. He has mentioned that Cortana is taking accelerated French classes for its debut.
This is largely in line with what we reported via our sources. If you remember, we reported that Cortana will come to European markets with GDR2 update in October. Today, Joe Belfiore has revealed that some updates will be pushed to developers preview devices this week and we understand taht these will be preparatory updates before GDR2 finally lands.
While, we still believe that GDR2 should come within first two weeks of October, actual timings of the update release is subject to change.
