Microsoft acquired PureView & Clearblack trademarks as well from Nokia

Microsoft mobileWhen Microsoft acquired Nokia’s Devices and Services division, it was hotly speculated as what will happen to Nokia created brands like PureView and Clearblack. At that time there were hints about Microsoft planning to drop PureView branding, which has become synonymous with high-quality smartphone imaging.

But, now Microsoft Mobile Oy, the new Microsoft’s phone entity has been listed as owner of these trademarks,

This is certainly good news for those wanting Microsoft to continue with PureView branding in future Lumia smartphones. They can do so as they own the trademark now.

I’am wonderin if MS only owns the trademarks or also the technology behind it..?
Or Nokia’s is still the owner of the technology and the imaging and display tech is only part of the patent-deal with MS. More interesting, is Nokia then free to license the tech also to other companies.. ?
