Our Lumia 950 XL review unit and many other readers’ Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL devices have received new firmware updates. It is rolling out to all Lumia 950 / 950 XL devices and non-insiders should be able to receive it without any issues, provided it is rolling out for your region. If you are enrolled in Insider Preview program however, you can follow the instructions to get it on your devices. As you can check in the screenshot above my Lumia 950 XL was able to update to the new firmware even after being on Build 10586.71.
