With a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor and half the RAM than Lumia 1020, Lumia 830 outscores Lumia 1020 in Rightware’s Basemark OS benchmarking tests. Lumia 830 scored overall 490, which is higher than Lumia 1020’s average score of 487 as shown on “Powerboard”.
So, while we can’t declare it as outright win, Lumia 830 would have only 6-7 Windows Phone devices with better benchmark scores and that includes Lumia 920, Lumia 925, Lumia 928, Lumia Icon, Lumia 1520, Lumia 930, HTC One for Windows ( all past and current flagships). Not too bad for a mid-ranger.
Camera speed test wise Lumia 830 is ranked 761 scoring 332 points.
I don’t have a Lumia 630 Basemark OS test screenshot with me now, but it had scored somewhere around 456 and I think the 1 GB RAM of Lumia 830 may be making the difference here.
