For the price it commands, Lumia 550 is a very compelling package. In terms of comparison, while Lumia 540 beats it in imaging department with higher MP cameras (both rear and front), Lumia 550 has better PPI display and may be more one-handed use friendly. Lumia 550 also comes with Glance screen, Motion Data & Living Images features missing from Lumia 540. Lumia 550 rear camera can shoot in 720p resolution while Lumia 540 can capture only 480p videos.

Lumia 640 stands out with 8 MP camera and features like Glance screen, advanced camera features, 1080p video capture, SensorCore, bigger battery and very good pricing that may make it favorite device of many. Only let down is the 0.9 MP FFC.

Lumia 540 comes packed with 5 inch display, 8 MP camera and 5 MP FFC. Its rear camera is similar to what we have on Lumia 640. But it can’t capture videos beyond 480p resolution. It also lacks Glance screen and advanced imaging features. It also has Snapdragon 200 processor as compared to Snapdragon 400 on Lumia 640. Coming to Lumia 535, for the features it packs and price it commands, it is still a very compelling device. It packs a 5 MP FFC as compared to 2 MP FFC of Lumia 550 but obviously misses in PPI, video capture, processor etc. In fact Lumia 540 is an ideal successor to it.

Finally, Lumia 550 may prove to be another hot Lumia in terms of sales performance, as it packs lots of punch for the indicated price of $139.

Personally I think 550 is garbage. If they had to make a 10K phone atleast they could have put IPS LCD and better back cam and fcc with higher resolution video.
640 3g is selling for 7999INR on Amazon and flipkart.
