Latest WP8.1 Music app update fixes many customer issues & bugs

Xbox MusicMicrosoft has pushed one more update for the Windows Phone 8.1 native music app. The update takes the app’s version to 2.6.318.0. It bring fixes for many customer issues as mentioned in the changelog. Surprisingly, the changelog this time doesn’t go into the details of fixed issues.

A new update for the Windows Phone 8.1 Music App is now available in the store! This release addresses a number of customer issues and bug fixes.

  • If this is the one at about the beginning of Dec, it *still* hasn’t fixed the issue of existing from playing the current playlist (to resume the previous one, I think), when you push the side-button to put the phone back on standby. I’ve found that the workaround is to go to the main screen first, but it’s still rather annoying that they cannot/will not fix this.
