Latest report puts Nokia WinRT Tablet name as Sirius. Claims 6 MP rear and 2 MP front camera.

We just reported about the full family of Nokia WinRT Tablet variants and now Verge has added some more details to probable specs of the Tablet. According to their sources it will have 6 MP rear shooter and 2 MP FFC. Other details remain the same as revealed by our sources and even release date is confirmed to be the same on 26th September.

So, here is the updated probable specs for the WinRT Tablet which is codenamed “Sirius” according to Verge’s sources.

4G/LTE compatible

10.1 inch, 1920×1080 resolution display, PureMotion HD+

Around 8.5-9 mm thin (Thinnes than iPad)

2.1 Ghz Snapdragon 800 Quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU

32 GB storage

MicroHDMI port

Black, White, Red, Cyan colors to be available

Battery equipped Keyboard Cover

6 MP rear camera


MicroSD Card support

According to our sources, There is going to be an event somewhere around 26-27th September, where the WinRT 8.1 Tablet will be announced for AT&T first. Though the exclusivity period will be around one month and Verizon will also get its variant.

  • In that case, these images are not the correct ones. There’s not even a rear camera in these, but they look real 😛

    So maybe Nokia will skip out the camera from these to cut costs and keep them affordable. What Say? These days Verge is seen collecting the rumors and naming them as ‘Verge has acquired from our sources’ LOL

      • To what I know, protos are not manufactured with full branding like the tab in the pic held. So confusing 😉
