Kantar Worldpanel’s report for 3 months ending December 2013 is out and it is looks like a mixed news package for Windows Phone. While Year-On-Year basis it posted impressive growth, if you compare it to the reports for October and November, you will see the Europe sales share slightly growing to 10.3% from 10% in November, which is not half bad considering new iPhone’s onslaught.

  • In Spain market, the Windows Phone market share seems on its way up and has now touched record 5.6%.
  • But, it has lost in China badly and now commands shockingly low 1.1% sales share.
  • In Italy as well, it has grown to 17%.
  • Sales share has dropped slightly in France and Germany while is on its way up in UK.
